Saturday in Boyne City

Great day on the water. Wind was perfect for a sail down Lake Charlevoix to Boyne City. We sailed for about three hours and then pulled into the municipal marina. We are located at the One Water Marina part of the municipal marina. Lindsey and Amber have been so helpful! We packed things up for our trip to Iowa for the holiday week, loaded the car, took a shower and went to dinner. We ate at a local pub/bar called BRI. Food was good and plentiful. In fact Skip has lunch for the trip tomorrow.
We sauntered back to the boat, played our game of gin rummy and took this picture of the sun setting.
Tomorrow we head for Chicago to send the night with Mom, then off to Iowa bright and early Monday morning.
Have a safe and blessed holiday week. It's a time to be thankful for our freedom. It came at a high price. Thanks to all those who have served and are serving and will serve our country. You are a blessing for all of us.
Check out the sunset!
Love and blessings,
Margo and Skip
